I've listened to feedback, now I'm making changes!


Version 00.02 11.3.2021
1 Added test accounts, a test photon server, and a test playfab server, so I can continue to develop Mana War separate from production.
2 Commissioned voice actor for voice over work. Then added an Announcer to the game that announces things like "Character Slain, Critical Damage, A New Round has begun, etc.
3 Added Discord Webhooks for player activity. Notifications for when a player logs in, player logs off, player account creation, player looking for online match, player joined online match, player left online match or stopped looking for online match
4 Players can now move mouse outside of movement bounds and click outside movement bounds to have character finish movement. The character will stop at the bounds of the movement range ring and continue following the mouse around its movement range ring as the mouse moves.
5 Players can now deselect a character that has activated a movement, ability, or capture by clicking on another character. Before the player had to deselect the movement, ability, or capture, then click on another character.
6 Added a Countdown Timer to encourage players to speed up their turns, otherwise their phase will be skipped.
7 I've made dice rolls fast (approx. 1 second) and always have a spin. They will explode with visual effects and sound effects upon successful rolls. Unsuccessful rolls will have no effects played other than the roll sound for that dice. This should speed up the game.
8 I've added a higher quality start game video than was initially in the Version 00.01 release.
9 Several point light objects were visibly working in the Unity editor, but broke upon game build. To fix this I changed the Render Mode from Auto to Important on all Point Lights. Various game objects should look more vibrant with more light effects now, particularly the base skin: A Thief's Hideout
10 I've reduced the score count on Slayer from 10 to 6, on Mana Cargo from 6 to 3, and Capture Chickens from 10 to 6 so games will go much quicker. Mana Towers remain at 10.
11 I've added a volume menu where players can now control the volume of in game music, effects, and announcer's voice.
